Northwest Arkansas Rail

Northwest Arkansas, AR | 2004

at the University of Arkansas Community Design Center

The Northwest Arkansas Rail study was started by Matthew Griffith is 2003 while he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas School of Architecture. Carried into his time at the University of Arkansas Community Design Center (UACDC), the project became a case study for regional planning in smaller, rapidly growing urban areas. The project was completed by the UACDC in 2007 and has since been awarded numerous recognitions, including the 2008 NCARB Prize and a 2008 AIA Honor Award for Urban and Regional Design.
