Srygley Office Building

Fayetteville, AR | 2004

in the office of Marlon Blackwell Architect

The Srygley Office Building is a 5,000 SF private office north of Fayetteville Arkansas. As a stark counterpoint to the surrounding suburban mediocrity, the building turns it back to the street, and opens towards the sun, prevailing breezes, and a scenic stream valley to the south. A primary goal for the project was to provide commentary on the banal nature of most suburban development. Built for a small additional premium cost compared to surrounding buildings, the Srygley Office Building is evidence that speculative building need not lack imagination.

The Srygley Office Building was awarded a 2005 AIA Arkansas Honor Award and a 2006 AIA Gulf States Honor Citation. To learn more about the value of quality work space, contact us here.
